Childbirth Education Course (Zoom or in person)

Mindful Birthing online childbirth education class provides expectant families the opportunity to learn at their own pace, taking as much time as needed to complete the course while having the ability to review materials repeatedly along the way and at any time after the course has been completed.  This allows for the class to be taken at any point in pregnancy and accessed repeatedly throughout the journey leading to labor and birth.

This online class is comprehensive, covering all of the topics explored in the in-person class offered at Dragonfly Yoga & Ayurveda.

  • Pelvic Bodywork & Creating Space
  • Working with contractions & labor pain
  • Power of Breath, relaxation & active labor positions

knowing one's rights in the laboring room, evidence based decision making, informed consent and informed refusal, developing birth priorities and the effective use of birth plans, optimal pelvic positioning, navigating emotional and physical aspects of the labor process, common interventions, cesarean birth and pain coping techniques.  


Online class participants will receive a digital packet of class materials to complete the course.  Clients are also welcome to email Jamie with any questions that come up along the way at dragonflyyogalv@gmail.com.


Partner Birthing Yoga Workshop  
This is a fun way to prepare together for your upcoming labor and birth. In this workshop, expectant couples practice movement and breathing techniques that can enhance comfort and confidence in pregnancy, labor and delivery. You will learn poses to strengthen, open and relax your body and gentle massage and pain coping techniques.
The presence and encouragement of a woman’s partner is a powerful aid during labor and delivery. This workshop places and emphasis on the essential role of the birth partner, providing specific helpful techniques that the partner can use during labor.
Sharing movement, breath awareness and touch while spending time together creates the opportunity for expecting parents to connect with their baby and nurture their growing family.
This workshop is recommended anytime during the second and third trimesters of pregnancy. 


Birth Doula​ (inquire within)

Is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to a mother before, during and shortly after childbirth to help her achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.


Childbirth Education $300 (private and group class offerings) 

In this workshop, mom and partners of their choice will learn optimal positioning throughout each stage of labor. We will also discuss and practice pain coping techniques through movement, breath work and meditation while connecting with partner and baby. This workshop will encourage mom and birth partner to feel safe, empowered, secure and confident throughout their birthing journey. Topic include:
